Therapy in Santa Barbara, CA

Therapy in Santa Barbara for Individuals & Couples

I offer in-person therapy in Santa Barbara and secure telehealth sessions throughout California. As a licensed clinical psychologist (PSY32771), I work with adults, emerging adults, couples, and health professionals who want personalized support and a collaborative therapeutic relationship that is honest, occasionally challenging, and not simply supportive in a passive sense.

Therapy is a place to slow down and look directly at what's happening in your life, whether that's a specific crisis, a pattern you're ready to change, or a quieter sense that something isn't working the way you want it to. Together, we'll create a process that makes room for what's difficult while supporting growth, healing, and lasting change.

Support through Grief and Loss

Losing someone you love reshapes the ground beneath you. It's not just the absence itself, but everything that absence touches, including expectations for the future you imagined, the daily rhythms you shared, and the parts of yourself that existed in relationship to the person who died. Grief rarely moves in a straight line, and it doesn't end on a predictable timeline.

I work with adults in Santa Barbara and throughout California facing the death of someone close to them, whether that loss was expected, sudden, or violent. Grief can unsettle who you are and how you relate to the people around you, and therapy offers a place to sit with that disruption rather than rush past it.

Fertility & Perinatal Support

The path to parenthood doesn't always go the way we imagined, and the gap between expectation and reality can be profoundly isolating. I work with individuals and couples in Santa Barbara who are facing infertility, pregnancy loss, high-risk or difficult pregnancies, and the disorienting adjustment of early parenthood.

This work often means holding grief and hope in the same breath and making room for whatever you're actually feeling, rather than what you think you're “supposed” to feel. Together, we'll explore your experience, connect it to your wider story, and support you as you navigate decisions, relationships, and next steps.

Spiritual Challenges

For many people, hardship raises questions that go beyond the psychological alone. Spiritual struggle, doubt, disconnection, or searching for meaning can accompany grief, transition, and pain.

I hold space for these questions as part of the therapeutic process, without judgment or a fixed framework you're required to fit into. Whether you're reevaluating a tradition you grew up in or searching for language that better fits your current experience, we can explore those questions together.
